Cuckoo clocks are meant to mark time with quaint little birds. This one, however, measures something far stranger: the relentless echo of conspiracy. Instead of a bird, a tiny red-shirted figure bursts from the clock on the hour, shouting statements taken verbatim from Q-Anon believers and other right-wing leaders.

It’s ridiculous. It’s alarming. And it’s exhausting—just like the real-life sources. Every pop and scream reminds us how the loudest voices often have the least concern for facts, logic, or civility. The Red Crier doesn’t judge; it merely repeats, over and over, the fevered declarations of a world gone conspiratorial.

Like any cuckoo, it’s charming at first—but spend a few minutes listening, and the absurdity becomes a little too real.
